The Korean
Presbyterian Church of Bayside, in Baysid, New York. We are searching for a pastor, to
work together for the English Ministry congregation of our church.
Position:
English Ministry
Lead Pastor (full-time)
Pastoral
Care and Leadership
·
Responsible
for spiritual oversight of English Ministry congregation
·
Lead
worship services in English every Sunday afternoon and prayer meetings every
Friday evening
·
Provide
pastoral care and counseling to congregants
·
Shepherd
and equip leaders and rising leaders in their spiritual formation and personal
growth
·
Collaborate
with pastoral staff from Korean congregation on church-wide initiatives and
maintain good relationship
·
Lead
discipleship trainings to equip and mobilize congregants toward serving
·
Develop
content and provide pastoral support for bible studies and Community Group
discussions
·
Provide
thematic vision and lead revival/seminar services for congregational retreats
twice a year.
·
Support
local outreach and global mission activities to build and grow a
gospel-centered and missionally driven congregation
QUALIFICATIONS
·
Theological
degree from an accredited seminary
·
Minimum
of 2-4 years of ministry experience, preferably leading an English Ministry
·
Bilingual
Korean and English preferred, fluency in English required
·
Strong
communication and decision-making skills
·
Passion
for reaching out to non-believers or struggling believers
