Evangelical Church searchers a fulltime EM Pastor
New York Korean Evangelical Church (NYKEC; www.nykec.org) is currently searching for a fulltime pastor, to work together for the English Ministry congregation of the church. NYKEC is located in the middle of Staten Island, NY and has been faithfully serving the Korean community of NY and NJ area for last 47 years. Recently, NYKEC focuses on the next generation and the diverse culture in the church growing. Our EM congregation consists of young 2nd generation of Koreans and the people from the diverse culture. The candidate will work in a team environment toward our goal of discipleship.
Responsibilities
Providing the high vision and pastoral care
Overseeing worship service, prayer meetings, bible studies, retreats, outreach/mission events
Developing the young lay leadership
Qualifications
Has both a
clear vision and passion for the English ministry
Fluent
English communication skills (both written oral)
Graduated
from an academic seminary (MDiv)
Legally eligible to work in the States
